The British Army Brass Band is making its first appearance in Cornwall as a Guest of The Cornwall Youth Brass Band. It's Musical Director is Captain David Barringer and both he and musicians from the Band will be working with the CYBB Musicians in a series of Workshops and Master Classes over the weekend of 28th February and 1st March next year.

Formed in 2007 The British Army Brass Band comprises of 35 brass instrumentalists, selected from all the Corps of Army Music Bands. It gives only a handful of Concerts each year and as the highlight of the visit will be performing at The Hall for Cornwall at 7-30pm on Saturday 28th February, when it will be joined for the Grand Finale of the Concert by The Cornwall Youth Brass Band, a total of over 100 musicians.
